Its advertising is very misleading. Staff not very skilled, most questions remained unanswered but staff managed to make clear that they are annoyed and not so keen to assist you. The level of hygiene is below standard (especially the bathroom and the toilet) and the facility is poorly equiped. The apartment looks great in a photo but not in reality;... more

Last minute booking on Ratestogo. Got the 3 bed penthouse with a glimse of the harbour. Well furnished but rather drab decor. Good kitchen facilities but only 4 dining chairs when the apartment sleeps 5 people. Beds very bouncy so the 3 of us spread out for the night. Bathrooms adequate but both had problems with leakage from the shower.... more

This is a great place to stay. Very close to the cable car, which I caught in the early am to watch the sun come up. Close to good shopping, cafes, harbour. The room was a good size, balcony. The gym was great with a lovely pool. Ample parking for a car underneath the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful.... more

We found this hotel on Ratestogo.com and were offered a very good night rate for the Penthouse apartment at the top of this hotel complex. I have stayed here before but in a noisy studio room which faced into the actual atrium itself. The Penthouse however is at the top of the hotel and faces out toward the road. Our... more

I had a terrible experince at the Quest Atrium Wellington. The property is incredibly noisy because all rooms face into an enclosed courtyard and any sound is amplified. Also, there are many better locations to be in Wellington. I also left an ipod there which was found by staff. It has taken me two months, after much buck-passing and unreturned phone... more

Booked studio apartment in Feb 2008, confirming we would be paying by Bartercard. Received emailed confirmation from Front Desk Manager, no problems. Room very small, even the bed was just a double, not a queen. Had to ask for chairs as no way of sitting down, only had the bed. Light bulb blown in kitchen, plastic bedside lamp melted by... more

The Quest Atrium is in a good position off the main streets but has a very limited view, we did enjoy watching the late night toilers at Radio New Zealand House, the Quest is easily accessible through the James Cook Hotel from Lampton Quay the 1 bedroom apartment we had was adequate for our stay and having a small kitchen... more

My daughter and I spent five days in Wellington at the Quest Atrium and had a one bedroom unit facing the Terrace. It was great having the apartment as we could cook our own meals. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. The location was perfect. It was very easy to get down to Lambton Quay for shopping. We... more
