This hotel models itself as a four staff apartment. There are too many things missing to warrant this rating including extra bedding and electric blankets in the middle of a cold Wellington winter, dirty microwave, batteries in remote control missing etc. The noise of the wind on the cable car brakes plus that of the motorway made for a disturbed... We rented a two room apartment 6E. Kitchenette was good, staff were good, beds were fine, but that was about it for positives. Very run down apartment. Paint chips on all walls, and heaps of paint off all the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. Mold and rot in bathroom (have a nice photo). Someone had had a go at... More

Good for a boys weekend but a bit basic and in need of a renovation. Have stayed in better places for less. Good location and easy access from motorway. Balcony is a bonus. Has basic catering facilities. Went to use the pool at 4pm on Saturday but it closed at 3pm!

This is an older hotel, it is noticeable by the chipped paint in some areas and generally is a little run down. Despite this, we enjoyed our staff here and wouldn't fault it except for a couple of minor things. The service was great, helpful and friendly. The first thing you notice when you enter your room is the cleanliness,... More

Spent 4 days at this hotel. It was clean and tidy and reasonably priced. Did book 2 days thru late rooms.com and found it to be more expensive than booking direct. The 20 dollar per night parking was cheap and good. Parking in Wellington is well over the top it is a cheap alternative. The parks out the front of... More

The room was clean and tidy, well serviced but the atrium environment means that noise is amplified and guests/residents are not as courteous as the many signs posted about the place ask you to be. We were woken late and night and early morning by rude people in the atrium talking loudly, all the room doors are on heavy duty... More

We booked this apartment as it looked like the atrium in the middle would be great. Unfortunately the atrium stunk. The room was shabby and the bathroom stunk of rotting wood. There were four adults in this apartment and the living area was extremely small. I contacted them before we went as I read that the rooms run down on... More

Hotel room was very run down, we were a family of 4 with a baby and had cold showers !!!! Due to the water heating system being small so after every shower we had to wait over an hour if we wanted a warm shower. Not a place I would recommend if traveling with a baby.

Stayed for 4 nights while in Wellington for work. This was booked by my employer, so not my choice. The positives include the location, very central. The room was clean, and bed comfortable. Negatives: lighting in bathroom is abysmal. Virtually impossible to use mirror to apply makeup! As other reviewers have said, the place can be noisy. I was in... More
