We stayed at The Gatehouse for two nights, which wasn't really long enough! Plus points: friendly, welcoming, luxurious, relaxing, great atmosphere. Negatives: none that would be anything other than incredibly picky, except that it is not central Wellington (a good thing...?). This is an incredible B&B, very private, self-contained, quaint, beautifully appointed and located in a leafy quiet neighborhood. There is nothing left wanting. – comfortable and attractive furniture, spotless kitchen, fully stocked fridge (no extra charge), huge bedroom on second floor with extra comfortable bed. You can even choose the CDs you want from an extensive list. But the best... more

We had a fantastic stay here!The accommodation is superb - big comfy sofas, TV, DVD and movies etc, the contemporary decor is restful and better still, The Gatehouse takes one couple at a time.
