I just checked into the Quest On The Terrace and I feel like someone has just robbed me of some hard earned money. The place is cramped such that we cannot find room to open our suitcases. This has got to rank as one of the worst places I've stayed in. This has just ruined our holiday and I don't... More

Due to previous comments we made repeated calls to make sure we got the best there was available for the price and 13E was booked and paid for weeks in advance. When we arrived 12E was offered as 13E had been given to someone else. Now, I know you need to shuffle things around sometimes to fit everyone in that... More

Not really suitable for families as has lots of Steps to negotiate especially with pushchairs . Location is good short walk and lift to main Wellington street and cable car . Would use again without children . Service ok . They do not supply breakfast at weekends , not sure why they cant supply toast and cereal for the weekend... More

We were in Wellington for the Rugby Sevens and almost everything in the city was booked so saw Quest had availability and booked online . Pricey for a 2 night stay at about NZD700 but was expected for that busy weekend in Welly. The room was spacious nothing fancy , AC good and quiet but the view not so great... More

Cold, dirty, stained couches, TV not working properly. Duvet crappy and cheap. No electric blankets, one extra blanket. Will have to sleep in my clothes. Would not stay here again and would not recommend.

My family and I stayed a night in the Quest apartments and were disappointed with the quality of the room. We paid for a one -bedroom apartment, and although the room looked okay we soon found that the bedroom window was broken and stuck open. We let reception know and they changed the room and upgraded us to another one-bedroom.... More

Chose the Quest on Terrace because it slept three and saved us renting two rooms with Grandma travelling with us. Group grew to four with daughter deciding to come too. Location was awesome, easy walk to Lambton Quay and beautiful run along the waterfront. Building was not very disabled friendly ( Mum has early stage MS) with stairs in foyer,... More

We stayed at these apartments for the fact they were convenient in location. Although the first major reason for choosing the accommodation was because of the size of our family. We specifically rang the establishment to determine whether the accommodation would suit our family needs in terms of space needs (we have 1 year old twins still in portacots and... More

If you need to be in central Wellington this hotel is an oldie but a goodie. Sited mid Terrace you'll be handy to government, Lambton Quay, public transport, and restaurants galore. There are more modern hotels nearby but this one is affordable, the sheets are crisp, the shower is hot, and the service is friendly. Ideal for tourists and business... More

Stayed here for two nights and had to sleep with jumpers on both nights. Condensation had caused mould in the rooms and some fixtures and fittings were missing. Definitely couldn't have stayed any longer. There was a constant draught due to old windows. Not great value for money but location is good. But the buffet dinner in the James Cook... More
