I just tried to book through the manager and he was so, so rude. I asked for his name and he said 'John Key'. And then before I had finished booking, he cut me off. I rang back to reprimand him for cutting me off and he told me not to bother booking there because I would be too difficult.... More

How could this be better than a five star hotel? Well the services provided in the room are far superior and much more cost effective. Each room is actually a small apartment complete with a combined washing machine and drier, microwave, toaster, full oven and hotplates, and all the plates, cups, pots, frying pan etc that you might need if... This was my worst Apart/Hotel experience for many years. The location in the city was good, but access was very difficult. There was no parking outside the hotel, if all the meter parking was full, as it was when we arrived. Access to the lifts required getting up 4 stairs, with no ramp for heavy cases or pushchairs. The bathroom... More

Booked this accomodation through Booking.com, and had immediate issues with what I thought was a double booking, I phoned the motel who happily confirmed that there was no double booking and everything was as it was intended, only to arrive to check in to be told, "are you aware you have a double booking, which we should potentially charge you... Very friendly and helpful reception staff, but old and tired decor with only token attempts at "patching" rather than "fixing" things. Loose shower drain, an electronic rubbish bin with no batteries, cracks and surface grime in the corners. Lingering and pungent spice/curry aroma - especially in the elevators - but an over-enthusiastic attempt to cover the smell with floral scented... More

I haven't used serviced apartments before but would certainly use this one again. Booked a one bedroom apartment for the purpose of moving my daughter out of university accommodation, so we had lots of boxes being moved in over a couple of days.Staff on duty offered, without hesitation, to carry items up the few steps to the lift. Lots of... More

I stayed 3 might son an apartment at Quest apartments. They are close to the city and a well positioned to see Wellington by foot. But if it is very windy then watch out for the rattle in the ventilators in the bathroom. It will rattle all night and keep you awake. My friend were in the second bedroom and... More

...you don't mind a rather small bedroom and lifting your luggage up and down unnecessary steps (presumably included by the architect to create a "better ambiance"). The room and bathroom were clean, shower was good and lounge perfectly adequate. A fairly complete kitchen would allow self catering if you wished. Yes, there is noise from the motorway but it's more... More

i have read the reviews and my experience is that the people running this are doing their best with a poorly designed and maintained building. Housekeeping was of a good standard and I appreciated the friendly hospitality, always a smile and offer of help. The noisy motorway off ramp, lack of air conditioning, multiple levels in apartments and food smells... More

I chose this hotel as I was travelling to Wellington in a group of 4 (not couples!!) and the 2 bedroom apartment with 4 single beds sounded perfect. When we checked in we were given a room with 2 Queen beds. As they were fully booked, they were unable to change us to another room, but said they would put... More
