Central to the City, Willis St and the cafes on Cuba Street. Stated 2 nights for our daughters graduation. Comfortable, tidy and clean. Serviced daily. Only criticisms were that our room was looking a little tired. Carpet could do with a good clean. But for the price of $180 per night, was functional. Would I go back there - maybe.

We arrived Saturday early and the lovely receptionist Carol was very helpful, our booking via booking.com had not arrived!! but Carol found us a room and gave us options, she was fantastic! Our room the first night was a 1 bed apartment, early next day we were moved into our permanent room. Very well appointed. The only thing I disliked... More

Quest is well situated with only a short walk to the wharf and also to Cuba Street and a local supermarket. Caroline at reception is incredible and truly makes your stay a pleasure, always smiling and helpful and friendly. The rooms are compact, but clean and comfortable. As parking is at a premium in the city I recommend booking parking... More

Super helpful and friendly staff. There ended up being free parking outside one of the entrances which the concierge held for us whilst we drove around the block to it. We had initially booked a parking space for a cost so we were impressed when we were advised to use the carpark at the door (saving us the cost of... More

At first sight, this apartment seemed fine. At least it was clean. The receptionist was also lovely However, be warned, nothing has been noticed nor maintained for year. The window catch fell off so it couldn't be closed, one of the bedside lamps had a European plug on it, the dishwasher wouldn't work, the DVD player didn't work, the wardrobe... More

We stayed at Quest on the Terrace because of its location near the city centre and previous experiences with Quest in Australia. They have a reputation for comfortable, practical well-priced accommodation. This was no exception - the two bedroomed apartment was compact but comfortable. The living space on level 9 looked out onto the city and adjacent buildings. Kitchen facilities... More

We stayed at the Quest Rotorua and were very impressed; we therefore had high expectations of this Quest. However, it was no more than adequate. It was dingy, had many small flights of stairs leading to and from and within the room. The room was adequately appointed but was narrow and confined. The car park was cramped and difficult to... We usually stay at this Quest when we go to Wellington because of the close proximity to Lambton Quay and Clifton car park. It's always been tidy and reasonably priced but this time we were unimpressed. The guy at the front desk was unfriendly and also charged me 2% for using credit card even though I had explained I was... More

Having stayed at the Quest Atrium just up the road, we thought this one would be ok as it was just a bit closer to the railway station......The room was quite small to be called an 'apartment' but was nice inside with a full kitchen and even a washing machine in the bathroom. No air conditioning meant having the window... More
