Just stayed the one night as we bounced through the north island on our honeymoon. We stayed in about 10 different backpackers, and some B&Bs, this was the best bed we experienced. Having stayed in backpackers all over the world, I have learnt to expect some noise, but the WorldWide Backpackers has to be the noisiest accommodation I have ever stayed in. I should have known from the stench when I opened the front door that my stay was NOT going to be a pleasant one. Dirty, smelly, rude guests, filthy kitchen with dirty dishes piled high in the sinks, horribly gross shower and bathroom. I would guess management has gone downhill. I would stay anywhere but here! more
