Very average motel. We knew that it was beside state highway 1 so I enquired about noise when I booked. I was told that they had not had any complaints about the noise from the motorway. What I wasn't told was that there was the mainline railway line which runs at the back of the motel. This was really noisy!
The motel was reasonably clean and tidy but the rooms dark. There was a grass area out the back for the dog. Overall I would rate this motel as very average. It was not expensive so I guess you get what you pay for but we will not be going back. We only stayed here because it was dog friendly and it is hard to find any dog friendly place that is of a good standard.
We asked the owner for somewhere nice to eat and were recommended the monteiths bar at Paremata(walking distance) I emphasized 'somewhere nice" which was definately not what we experienced.
