We went to a different motel only to find out that they didnt have any free rooms. The man in charge seriously recommended this hotel. So we accepted as we felt quite secure of this man recommending the hotel. As soon as you arrive you know something isnt right. Chinese owners obviously trying to keep maintaince costs down. My opinion... More

That is a great space in the city. Just right behind CBD, save your parking and walk. Go anywhere is all close. The staff is nice and friendly. Room price is really valuable. I will suggest to my friends if they go.

An absolute dump that should be closed down. The room were dirty, dodgy, peeling bath, thick black mould around all water basins/bath, filthy curtains, stains on walls. A motorbike parked inside the non existant restaurant, litter on the floor, only stayed because it as prepaid. DONOT stay here its that bad, furthermore Expedia should remove this motel from there database.

Only stayed as we had prepaid. One of the dingiest revolting hotels we have ever stayed. They don't even service the rooms and the rooms are stained ... Very dodgy. Do not recommend at all! I guess it's a you get what you pay for but gather the coins and stay elsewhere

where to start? How about the toilet that leaked from the waste pipe into the floor. Or the toilet door that would not shut due to a broken edge. Or the television remote with an Asian script so you couldn't work out what to do. Or the filthy cushions on the bed. Or the stained bedspread. Or the bare lightbulbs... More

The only reason I stayed at this place was to be able to arrive at the inter islander ferry terminal early without any problems. I would not go there ever again. It smelled of what I could only describe as stale urine. All the washers in the taps needed replacing. I got sick of the drip drip drip. The walls... More

I stayed 2 nights with a group of 12 in 3 rooms sometime in May 2014 and we quite like the proximity of this Motel to downtown area such as Cuba Street and Te Papa Museum. There is sufficient parking although access is a bit narrow within the basement area. The rooms are spacious enough and we have no complaint... More

Fairly small basic room, but the location of this hotel makes it a winner. Two minutes walk from Cuba Street and only 10-15 minutes to everywhere else. Free parking, free wifi. Will be staying here again.

The place is so dirty and smells really really bad! There is mould everywhere in the bathroom the toilet floor looked so dirty... More

I only stayed there for 1 night to watch the rugby. After reading all the reviews I was quite apprehensive but to be honest I had no issues at all. Yeah ok the whole place could do with a renovation but its a cheap place to stay so don't expect too much! My room was clean, location was good.......I cant... More
