We stayed at this hotel the night before our trip to Singapore. Perfect location, and we were upgraded to a luxury room on arrival, We were rapt, as the accommodation was paid for with our Fly Buys points. Would reccommend this hotel to everyone. more

We stayed at the Citylife apartments when visiting Wellington for a wedding. The apartments were everything we required. The staff were friendly and corteous. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded and our room was spacious. The Lambton Quay area is relatively quiet outside of business hours, however restaurants and pubs are only a short walk away. Our apartment was... more

The location of this hotel is excellent. Located close to Cuba Street for dining, Courtney Place for clubs and bars, as well as Waterfront and in Lambton Quay. The 2 bedroom apartment I had was huge and well furnished. There was a master bedroom with tv and ensuite, a second bedroom, a large bathroom with laundry faciliities (washing machine and... more

The first apartment we were allocated was at the back, and the curtains were pulled across, so after the reception staff has left, we opened them, expecting to let in some light. Not so. The windows are floor to ceiling, but look at a blank concrete wall, dirty and with birds nesting only inches from the windows. Additionally, one of... more

Stayed here for 4 nights to visit family and was happy with the value for money received. Citylife provided us with everything we needed, without paying for the extras of a 5 star hotel. It is centrally positioned but is very private, quiet and gives you the ability to cook and catch up on the washing! We were located on... more

Hard decision this one - what to rate, could have so easily been a 5/5 but it wasnt to be. The best point of the Citylife is its CBD location - it is right in the middle - easy access to pretty much anything worth seeing, as well as a plentitude of shops, cafes, supermarkets - even BK and Mcdonalds... more

I stayed at Citylife Wellington for 4 nights in August 2008 on a business trip. I enjoyed my stay and would recommed Citylife if you want apartment accomodation. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. My first floor suite had 2 bedrooms, one with a double (queen?) bed and the... more

I was really impressed both by the centrality of the location (with lift access down to Lambton Quay, the main shopping street) and the spaciousness of the accommodation. The view was poor- with a lot of light blocked by the drive into the hotel- but my friends, in a two bedroom suite overlooked the Quay so it is the luck... more

I had reserved a 1-bedroom suite that got upgraded to a 2-bedroom (they probably ran out of 1BRs), but that was fine with us. Desk staff was very nice, and the room decor was very modern and sleek, with recessed lighting, a large dining table and a big flat-screen TV with DVD player (bring your own movies). And we definitely... more
