This hotel is just ok rooms have been upgraded however the bathrooms have not. Gold tap wear and brown marbel very outdated. The biggest problem with these rooms is the air conditioning it is extremely noisy all night. There were 4 of us stay we all had the same problem More

Stayed at the Amora for one night in December and overall we loved it! The room has been newly refurbished (don't be scared by the old hallways) it's perfectly clean and spacious. The staff are well mannered and fast but efficient on Check In / Check Out. The only problem I had is on check in they tried to scan... More

We stayed for 4 nights in early new year 2012 and what a pleasant surprise the Amora was. We stayed in the Club Suites at a great rate and had fantastic views of the Harbour. The location was terrific; close to the wharf walkways, restaurants and museum and just around the corner from Cuba street (more restaurants). The best surprise... More

Booked one night direct through hotel with a deal of $155 including valet parking for a studio room. Check in was simple. Car was parked and retrieved with no dents, the room was on 8th floor so nice and quiet, room was lovely and modern, lovely waterfront view of harbor and great shower. No real complaints. Wanted to stay a... More

We stayed on the 5th floor of the Amora and enjoyed the views over to the harbour, the proximity to the city centre and eating places. We also enjoyed the king size bed and the first class room facilities. The cost was very reasonable and we would definitely stay there again. More

We stayed at the Amora hotel for 3 nights and the location is ideal if you prefer to walk and sight see some of the major attractions. The hotel has great harbor views and especially at night when everything lights up; the views are terrific! Customer service could be better given that we would call valet 10-15 minutes before to... Daughter and I stayed here for three nights this week, fab location, great deal on wotif. We were on the 2nd floor in a deluxe room. The room was great, service very professional. Only thing of note was that the bathrooms have yet to be refurbished otherwise would have received 5 stars. Would we stay here again - Yes. More

We stayed at the Amora Hotel Wellington for a few nights just after new year. The staff were very helpful and our room was imaculate. The standard of the room was very high, the linen beautiful and clean and the whole experience helped make our break a success. More

We stayed twice at the Amora in 2011, the first time on a very good special associated with the re-furbishment and re-branding (Club room, lounge access, buffet breakfast) and the second time in a Deluxe room with no add-ons. Both were weekend overnight visits, booked through Wellingtonnz.com. Great beds, good views and good service but best of all is the... More
