Excellent hotel from the moment we entered and brilliant attention to detail on our rooms interior. Have my two toddlers here too and they feel so much at home! Currently in room 115 on a family pack with a decent view. A conveniently placed hotel near everything you need. Clean and excellent room service. We will be returning to Amora... More

"Windy Wellington" that's what we were told upon our arrival in Wellington and it lived up to it's name. Two nights we stayed here and never have I ever had a worse experience in any hotel anywhere. Our room was on the first floor of rooms and faced the main street just above the roof of the main entry drive... More

We stayed here for one night for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and lovely and professional. I didn't like the room they gave us because of it having a disabled bathroom and to me this didn't feel luxurious for a special evening when you are not in need of disabled facilities. I spoke to... I have tried most of the hotels in this neighbourhood at some point and I think the Amora is the best. More expensive I think than the West Plaza, but much, much nicer & better appointed; maybe cheaper than the Museum Hotel, but I really wouldn't recommend that as the service is very unreliable. The Amora is reasonably priced, the... More

Clean rooms with space. Have stayed there a number of times and all rooms exactly the same which is good to know there is a set standard. Has a lovely day spa for late night facials and pampering. Food is great especially a la carte menu ! All staff are welcoming and nothing is a chore for them. Only downside... More

We did a tour of North & South Islands and the Amora was the best hotel we stayed in. Located in an excellent location and only a short walk from the centre. The room was large and modern, we requested twin beds and got 2 king size beds with great pillows and comfortable matresses. Breakfast was included which included all... More

This Hotel has a fantastic location, close to Welliington Harbour, shopping, conference venues and of course wonderful coffee shops. We were in a Club Room, the room was lovely, the Club Lounge excellent, it is open 24/7, and the staff there are very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast in the Club Lounge, whilst small selection, very nice food. Didn't... More

We stayed in a Club Room; seemed more like a private hotel within a hotel on the exclusive 9th floor. Our room had a city harbour view, lovely amenities and a good walk-in shower and bathtub. No scrimping on anything. The location is ideal, near Cuba Mall and Te Papa Museum, and walkable within 20 minutes from the railway station... More

We stayed here while in Wellington on business we found parking a real issue at the Amora. Make sure you book one of the 20 parking spaces allocated to the hotel when you make your accomodation booking otherwise you will have to park on the Te Papa carpark down the road, on the street or over at the Michael Fowler...
