Stayed on the Club floor for a week. Outstanding service by all staff especially the fabulous Bipin..door man extraordinaire. The fantastic club lounge team, they were brilliant, friendly warm and welcoming. The Grill service was amazing, I enjoyed a great dinner and was served beautifully by V. The spa was great and I used their services on more than one... More

Wonderful place to stay. So close to everything i.e. Te Papa, Courtenay Place, etc. We stayed in a Deluxe Room which was absolutely lovely, and the deal we had was the Amora Affair which included a bottle of champagne and handmade chocolates on arrival and buffet breakfast for two the following morning. Food was good. Cannot fault this place. Also... More

Booked the Date Night package and paid extra for a Deluxe King View Room. Package included full cooked breakfast in bed, two glasses of chilled bubbly, $50 cinema voucher and late checkout. Breakfast arrived bang on time and was huge and excellent. Not sure if the two glasses of bubbly were supposed to be with the breakfast but never ended... More

This hotel is in the perfect location. The theatre and museum is right across the road and Cuba street with all its boutiques and eateries is a block away. The internet was quite slow, but sufficient. A nice bonus was a free washer and dryer on one of the floors. Will definitely stay here again.

One large room easily partitioned into three rooms. Great technology. After each session the rooms were refreshed with mints, water, new clean cups, tables and chairs re-straightened, pens, pads rearranged tidily for the next session. Microphone system was excellent, projector and screen was easy to see and hear from back room. Breakout room for coffee. My only gripe was how... More

We stayed here in winter on Friday and Saturday nights. From the airport we took the $9 Airport Flyer, which dropped us off one block away. The hotel is next to the great Te Papa museum, and also by the Friday night market and Cuba Street restaurants. The common areas were chilly, but you can control the heat in your... More

I spent one night here this week. I was on the 3rd floor in a room looking toward the street. The hotel is lovely, the food great and the room was clean and tidy. However the window is not double glazed and the doors/walls are thin. You hear everything in this hotel. The street noise, people in the corridors and... More

Nice hotel. Comfy bed, pillow menu and ok shower. I was on the third floor so had a bit of road noise. Shortish walk to shops and restaurants. Average food for dinner. Spectacular bacon for breakfast. Ticks most boxes.

The Amora is a great hotel to base yourself for a trip to Wellington. Close to both the CBD, attractions & restaurant/nightlife area of Courtenay Place. The rooms are fairly small but nicely laid out and look to be fairly newly furnished. The hotel breakfast was fantastic & service was top notch.
