The room is dirty and the my food was stolen and they have the worst housekeeper ever. There was a male housekeeper who didn't knock the door before entering the room (I was a girl) and he cleaned up the room before 9:30am. I asked him to come a bit later since I was changing atm, and he was so... More

The situation is good, near to the center and all facilities, they also gift us a basket entrance for free that was amazing!Recepcionist were amazing too. But... its a noisi place, full of younger people that drink too much, there's only two complete bathrooms for all the hostel, our room were dirty (even inside the bed) and our roomates were... More

There was a group of 4 of us and they were more than happy to let us have a dorm room to ourselves which was a bonus to begin with. Very good hostel. Amenities were clean and the communal kitchen had pretty much everything you could ever need. Mainly written this review to recognise Charmaine who was the girl who... More

Lovely hostel, lots of kitchen space to cook, close to city centre and shops/bars. Can be loud so if you want it quiet purple or pink sections are on the quieter side away from the courtyards. Very sociable, good areas to hang out. Stayed a few times!

Stayed in a 4 bed dorm for 1 night, the room was tiny and the bunk beds very fragile and noisy to climb into. Three bathrooms for the whole floor which we guessed had about 24 beds in it! Also the bathroom and shower were together so if 3 people were showering you could be waiting ages to use the... More

We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. Pros - hostel is centrally located and walking distance to the main sites / bars / restaurants etc - hostel was clean and had good facilities - staff were friendly Cons - no air con in room - parking was an additional charge Overall would highly recommend this hostel.

Hi Ryanc89, Thanks for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We are certainly fortunate that our central location is convenient to Wellington's main visitor attractions. Of course, this also brings the downside that, like everywhere in central Wellington, parking is extremely limited. We are glad to be able to offer secure off-street parking for those... More

This was my least favorite hostel that we stayed in on our trip and it took me a while to pinpoint what was wrong. I mean, they won a best hostel award recently, staff are friendly, clean the place often, room was clean...but I just disliked my stay here. The problem is that it seems to big for it's own... More

I stayed three nights in the TrekGlobal. Facilities are clean and good. relatively clean showers+toilets. centrally located. What really bothered me were the beds. Very thin mattresses and backpain everytime I woke up, because it felt like you are laying on the steelbars. Furthermore there is only a small window in the room (stayed in 6bed dorm) which doesn't make... More

We just needed a place for one night after a function in Wellington and it was perfect. We had a twin share room with ensuite so was nice and private. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Location was great!! Only down side was that the room lit up through the frosted glass in the door... More

This is definitely a business.. it feels clinical and there is unfortunately no warmth in this hostel. That said, it's clean, comfortable and functional. Can be a little tricky to find your room but as it is so big, all the corridors are colour coded. This place is ideal as a 1 nighter as it's in easy reach of the... More
