My name is Nick Westermeyer. I am a quadriplegic from a gymnastics injury sustained at Michigan State University in April 1991 who is interested in global travel and participating in activities not normally associated with disabled people. I’m currently on an adventure that will explore worldwide handicapped accessibility. Many people have travel blogs, but there are none that I know... More

Stayed here for few nights and found nothing to complain or to be unhappy about, rather the opposite. The place is clean and looked after. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee, loads of facilities to use. Good work guys.

I stayed here for a weekend and I have to say I really enjoyed my stay. Welcoming and friendly staff, clean and maintained building, clean fresh beds and great location...all this for a very friendly price. If I ever will have to look for accommodation in Wellington, the Trek will be the place to go for me,

A group of us stayed here for a night out in wellington. Suited us perfectly for our purposes. Rooms are well-priced, clean, beds made (very handy for us), friendly staff, pretty good facilities. Were on an upper floor, didn't notice much noise late at night. Some rooms are bigger and have more room to move than others. Only thing which... More

I ended up staying in Trek for about 6 months. I had originally planned on moving into a flat at some stage, but Trek soon become my home away from home. I think the amazing staff there made it a step above the rest! I really enjoyed the weekly activities like movie night, bingo, and quiz night. Trek had definitely... More

This hostel is clean, well maintained and super friendly. Reception staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Housekeeping seems to be always around doing a very good job as the hostel looks very clean. The beds are fully made on arrival. Rooms are big enough and well aired. Each "wing" of the hostel has its own kitchen and own bathrooms. Bathrooms... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my boyfriend and was not impressed. It was okay, but we experienced several issues with this hostel. + Fairly clean + Central location + O.K. prices - Kitchen too small and poorly equipped, nowhere to store your food and fridges have an unpleasant smell (Purple Wing, 2nd floor) - Doors slamming really loud (makes... Good afternoon, thank you for your review. Unfortunately, some kitchen implements do go walking from kitchen to kitchen but since your review each kitchen has been restocked. We hope you enjoy the rest of travels in NZ! Kind regards, Trek Global team More

I stayed at trek global with 2 other friends, we had initially booked 3 beds in a room on the girls only floor but due to a mix up we were shifted to another floor and as compensation had the whole room to ourselves which was great. The staff are so friendly and helpful and so were the other people... More

I stayed here for 3 weeks and moved rooms several times due out the noise. There is a noise curfew at 11, but sometimes there can be really loud people here. The staff are excellent at trying to keep the noise to a minimum and for moving you into a more suitable room. I stayed in the girls retreat in... More
