This is a stock, standard Novotel which is fine for a night or two. We primarily chose this hotel as it was one of the few that could accommodate myself, my mother and three sisters in two hotel rooms. Smallish, standard rooms (ours had two double beds) and small bathroom with shower over the bath. The room and bathroom were... more

The staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms are fine, and everything is clean and attractive, but there is also nothing special about this business hotel. There is a charge for internet access, and for breakfast, even though the room price is steep. The lift down to Lamborn Quay is a bonus, since the Terrace itself is not a very... more

Stayed here for two nights and although we enjoyed our stay in Wellington, the hotel didn't offer much beyond the basics. The room was clean, but there were no extras or charm involved and the fitness center was more like a fitness closet. more

We spent 3 nights in this Hotel recently. By far the best feature of the Hotel is it’s location on the Terrace with access by elevator to Lambton Quay & access to the Wellington Cable Car by walking 20metres up The Terrace, crossing over & walking downhill a bit, through a Car park & there you have the Cable car’s... more

We stayed at the Novotel for almost a week in August and found it to be central, clean and comfortable. They have an elevator that will take you right down to Lambton Quay (keep in mind it only works until 11 pm, after that you will have to find your way back up). Wellington is such a great city for... more

Modern, efficient hotel located right in the centre of Wellington. The room was well-maintained and comfortable and the location was quiet, right in the middle of the business precinct. Most restaurants, cafes etc are some way from the hotel, but the Courtenay Place/ Cuba Street precinct is not too far a walk. more

Stayed here for one night at the beginning of July! Great location, easy to find and accessible. Unfortunately the night i stayed, they were ripping up carpet in the foyer and the dining hours were shortened. Nice room and lots of goodies in the bathroom which was fab for the great bath i had! Elevator down to the Quay was... more

The room is the same as all other Novotel's - ie very nice. It was clean, had two large double beds, a fridge, a nice marble bathroom and great views of the harbour. The location is perfect with a lift taking you down to the main street in Wellington - Lambton Quay. We paid NZ$79 for the room and it... more

We spent 2 nights at the Novotel and paid $79NZ per night as we had booked during Accor's room sale. On arrival, the duty manager advised us that we had been upgraded to a deluxe king room. We were very happy with the room, the bed was extremely comfortable and whilst we didn't have views of the harbour, we found... more

We had for a superior room which got us partial sea views, and even though these views were between the skyscrapers it was worth it as the room specifications were a higher grade too. There is easy access to Lambton Quay via a lift that you have to access by walking through the restaurant but not so good for the... more
