We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We arrived in the evening at about 7pm. Check in was smooth. They already anticipated our arrival. The room was clean and neat. There are plenty of shops in the vicinity and restaurants to suit every taste. Ghuznee Street is about 10 minutes from the hotel and is a must for all... more

My husband went away on a business trip so I thought I would book myself and the kids into a hotel for a couple of nights to make the time go faster as well as to treat the kids and I to something different. From the first phone call the staff where wonderfully helpful and friendly. When I arrived they... more

Stayed here 1 night (1 too many) after crossing over in ferry from South Island. Arrived about 5pm,not a soul to be seen at reception. Eventually found someone wandering aimlessly about who roused a scruffy looking man from behind the reception area. No offer of help with baggage. Room was OK, if a little down at heel. After freshening up,went... more

We booked a night away using the 'whot if.com' website to be close enough to walk into the city for New Year's Eve - certainly a great location. We planned to cycle around the bays, have dinner in the city, celebrate New Year's and enjoy a night away together. This was our first stay in Wellington after travelling Europe and... more

Reviewing the room is easy, it was above expectation. Obviously recently refurbished, spacious, modern bathroom, flat screen TV and the best nights sleep I have had in a long time (i.e. very comfy bed). The hotel is walking distance to the CBD about 10/15 min with no hills (thankfully). There is a gym in the basement however the pool didn’t... more

We booked this hotel for a 1 nighter in Wellington after consulting a map and looking for the cheapest hotel within 15 min. walk of the CBD. This one came up, but be prepared for a quite a walk out of the centre of town.. Unfortunately our experience wasn't good one.. Firstly the receptionist didn't give us the right bedding... more
