It's my second time to stay in this hotel and I'm very happy with the service I got. The staff are very professional, helpful and know how to provide prompt and efficient service even without being asked. The hotel is not flash and furnitures and fixtures may need updating but for people like me who are there for business and... More

Pleasant staff, secure parking, close to restaurants. Rooms comfy, but a bit dated and tired. Will try another option next time. Paid wifi. Only stayed overnight for business, but would not like to stay for a longer period.

Pleasant staff, secure parking, crisply clean bed linen and comfortable bed. Rooms a little run-down and dated. Further from city centre than envisaged ( the top end of the Terrace) only a 20- 25 min walk but late evening (after 10pm), as the back door is locked, a monumental uphill hike up is required to the front entrance on the... I booked this one even after seeing some of the bad reviews and immediately regretted it once I arrived. The staff, while nice, were poorly trained. The parking garage is hard to access. The room itself had stains on the carpet, unclean walls in the bathroom, too few power points, and the fridge made a lot of noise on a... More

We stayed here overnight as we were doing a driving tour of New Zealand. The hotel room was nice and the heater worked great which was very nice in the winter. The on site restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast which was good because it looked like a walk to restaurants. The laundry room was nice but there... More

This hotel is very tired and needs some maintenance. One redeeming feature was the staff; they were great. Location is awkward unless you are using taxis as it's some way from the centre of town up some very steep hills.

The one redeeming feature of this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly and very welcoming. That is I'm afraid where the good features start and end. The hotel itself is a very long walk (up and down hills) from the center of town. It is definitely a taxi ride away ($20). The hotel is very tired and this... More
