Its very difficult to write anything about this hotel as everything about it was just so average. We stayed for 3 nights as part of a longer trip. The location could not be more ideal. Right in the middle of the city, walking distance to everything, just phenomenal. Service was good (not great). The rooms are on the small side and "oldish". We booked a Club Room which was spacious and clean. When we booked in, the receptionist advised us we were entitled to complimentary soft drinks and snacks and Internet access. The public areas are generally very nice, the room it turns out is only ok. The bathroom could really do with a refit. I wonder if this hotel trades on its name, historically is was regarded as one of the better hotels in Wellington. more
