On arrival we where greeted with a speedy check-in, room was clean and modern. Hotel location excellent and staff where always very polite and helpful. This is my second stay here and would stay again

Budget hotel in great location. Room is basic and very odd shape with very strangely placed TV. The bathroom is very small and not very tidy. Friendly but not very helpful staff. Internet severely overpriced, like in most other hotels in New Zealand.

I stayed 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday) in a standard double room on the 10th floor. The room was very tidy and warm. The heavy curtains blacked out the city lights very effectively and, with the window closed, there was very little city noise. Clean, tidy room. Nice to have a microwave. No individual temperature control for a/c and we found it too hot! King size bed was comfortable for our three day stay. Clean, well-maintained, opens up to Lambton Quay! Staff was efficient and discreet. If lucky, one can get an east facing corner room with a view of the waters. Would recommend to friends who are looking for a good value for their money.

Pleasant reception, nice rooms, reasonable price, good breakfasts, but the thing we liked the most was the central location right in the middle of Wellington. There are other places in the middle of town but are much more expensive.

This is a good, well run hotel and I recommend it if you can get it at a decent price. However, the gouging on bottled water was unexpected, as this is often provided free. It costs around $5 for a bottle of water that retails for $1.00.

For the price it's excellent value. Reception one day was brilliant and sorted rooms into the right configuration, on the second day when we had two more rooms booked I almost had to repeat myself 5 times before the penny dropped about the configuration of the rooms.
