Very disappointing and I would not recommend to others. The room was incredibly hot with no climate control in the room making it impossible to sleep. Far to much noise with the window open. The room facilities were very limited, with no draws at all in the room or bath room. The bathroom was very dirty and needed a good... More

Buffet was really great, the hotel is in a great central location and the staff were friendly. Our room was very quiet even though it was next to the lifts. Minor note - the street sign was a little difficult to see.

This was the worst hotel of my three week stay in New Zealand. Confusing elevators and floor arrangements (reception was on the 7th floor, as I recall, and breakfast on the 6th floor). I was with a group of friends, and they gave me a room on a different floor from the others, which was uncomfortable. Noisy setting, but I... More

Pleasant rooms. Very clean. Good location. Room nice and warm. Somewhat noisy though. I had little sleep. Room service meal was lovely. Dining room breakfast had many options. I enjoyed it although the hot food went cold quickly....needs to be hotter I think. Overall a pleasant stay and I gave an excellent rating. Thanks

The hotel is centrally located but hard to find. The lobby and auto entrance are on level 7--walking entrance from Lambeth Quay is on a lane with the statue of Arthur Plimmer and his dog, up some steps, past the Plimmer Towere entrance, to the elevator on level1.

Excellent location and the food is good. I was dumbfounded when checking in to be asked to deposit $100 to cover "extras", but when I refused this was accepted. The lifts to the accommodation floors cause confusion and don't always work as they should.

Dear Chrissie W, Thank your for taking the time to review our hotel. The authorisation is actually a holding on a credit card not a deposit, it never goes into our bank account. The reason we do this is for any incidentals that may be incurred during a guests stay. If we don't do this guests could potentially just walk... More

The hotel could do with a bit of contemporary refitting. The window blinds, well for me, were not effective light screens and I couldn't sleep very well at night. The shower in the bathroom could do with a shower door to screen splashes from the whole bathroom floor, which I found a bit messy. Apart from one exceptional lady who... More

Dear Gabriel A, Thank you for your review. I am sorry you didn't find your stay enjoyable and that the service was not what you were expecting. Almost every review we receive mentions that staff are friendly and helpful. We did have mini-bars in the rooms however due to the majority of guests feedback we decided to take them out... More

Stayed over night in march on business. Plenty of easy car parking for such a central location. The room was clean, cheap and a good central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was not what I booked. Phoned reception and was sorted out straight away. Would stay again
