Lovely House with spacious, very comfortable rooms and excellent hosts. As with most of Wellington you need strong knees to climb the hill. We cheated - Walked down & Taxi back ! Carlton Gore is the perfect guesthouse if you want proximity to the city without the noise and hustle. This elegant house had a commanding position above the city but parking outside in the road wasn't always easy.
