I used a voucher here for the weekend. Stayed in a Courtyard Studio Room. The hotel is in excellent location, just off the main strip of nightclubs on Courteney Place. Its close to Te Papa, Oriental Bay and lots of food places. Burger king and a Fix 24/7 starmart is just down the road as well. They have parking for... More

I used to live in Wellington but went back for a few days to stay in the city. The location itself was fantastic, close to shops and restaurants etc the hotel itself was reasonably priced and the staff were good.

Had a great jump-off point to get to know Wellington from this hotel. Also was priced fairly reasonably compared to others I looked at. Only a few criticisms: - The carpet is atrocious. It should be taken up and tile should be put down in the kitchen/living area because you're never gonna keep carpet clean in a food-prep area -... More

We stayed two nights in Distinction Wellington in our visit to New Zealand. The rooms are modern and well equipped with complete kitchen facilities. The rooms are modern and the hotel are very well located in walking distance to the Te Papa Museum and restaurants, theaters and pubs in Courtenay place and Cuba St.

We stayed in a city-side 2bdrm apartment with balcony. The room area was small but fine for 4, large balcony with great view (but no sitting area), comfortable beds, washing machine, microwave....and hotel is in perfect central location. The staff were friendly and helpful, so complaints should be directed at management - 1) broken venetian blinds in one of the... More

My partner and I suffered a house fire and we lost just about everything. The awesome staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Wellington was busy during valentine's day and the following week but the staff at this hotel managed to accommodate us during this very stressful time. They shifted some people around and upgraded us from a... More

We had a studio court apartment on the 8th floor. Could not sleep for the 3 nights due to the noise from the adjacent apartments and constant noise echoing through the corridor from 10pm to 3am. No carpets in hallways to deaden the noise. Room also very cljuttered with a large dinning table. No real clothing draws to store items.... More

We had a 1 bedroom apartment facing the street. It was so clean, tidy and modern. Great location, we parked our car when we arrived and didn't use again until it was time to go home, everything was within walking distance and it was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the gym and pool are top quality and... More

We had a 1 bedroom superior apartment on the 3rd floor facing the street. The apartment was clean and bright. Comfy bed. Great kitchen facilities and even a washer/dryer... Good stuff!!!! Strange furniture lay out but we moved the couch so we could watch tv and the lovely staff were fine with that. Yes the street is noisy when the... More

This apartment was in a good location for easy access to the main attractions including the Te Papa Museum and waterfront but it could do with a really deep clean and new carpets. It had a large balcony but no outdoor furniture which was a shame as we visited in the summer and would have spent a lot more time... More
