Great location for me as I was attending a course at Massey University. Lovely Hosts & devine breakfasts. Comfy though small room, very comfortable bed. I would have prefered to have had a TV in my room as after listening to lectures all day it's nice to zone out for a bit, though probably not important to most people. more
Thanks very much for your helpful feedback. A couple of people have said they thought a TV would have been good in the Double room, so we're happy to say - we've installed one. Both bedrooms now have a TV.
The friendliness and service was excellent. Nothing was too much effor and went out of their way to accommodate me in relation to breakfast and evening meals. The room was tastefully decorated and was furnished with some beautiful era furniture. Bed was comfy. Everything was supplied.. more
This was the perfect place to stay whilst studying and visitng Wellington for the first time. Hosts are very friendly, caring and informative. Room is very comfy and quiet, facilities are great, location is close to the centre of town, and the actual b&b has a great view of the city. My husband, married daughter and I stayed at Brick House for nearly 5 days and the hospitality was great. As I was attending a conference at Massey campus, the location of Brick House almost right at its gates was extremely convenient and I would highly recommend it to any academic visiting Massey's Wellington campus. Thanks very much for your generous and helpful feedback. A couple of our guests have mentioned that they found the bed a bit small, so we've now upgraded it to a very comfortable queen size bed.
I had the privilege of staying at the Brick House Bed and Breakfast. The hosts, Chris and Ruth went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and inviting. Welcoming B&B in the heart of Wellington. Easy walking distance to town. Plenty of books and lovely rooms to read in on a rainy day. Wireless internet. Breakfast to tide you over for a decent stretch. Ask for Chris' porridge if you're feeling cheeky. more
