Stayed at the Ambassador for a couple of nights - very modern and warm. Quiet and peaceful. Bathroom included a spa bath but we loved the shower in particular with lots of hot water and you were able to adjust the water pressure. Self catering apartment, complete with everything you need in the kitchen. Shell garage right across the road... more

Found the Ambassador listed in the AA Guide, they had a 4 star Qualmark rating so we figured it had to be a pretty safe bet. I booked this after researching through web-sites and accommodation guides. The room I booked did not reflect the one shown in any advertisements. My wife and I spent two nights here. The Motor Inn was on a very busy road and it could take up to 5 minutes to turn into the never-ending stream of traffic!
