The Mediterranean Resort is set in substantial and very well kept grounds. Our room was very well sized and fitted out beautifully. The bathroom was excellent with "his" and "her's" washbasins and a really good shower. The hot water system is an advert for solar heating! This is an example of how scant hotel booking sites are with their info... More

Is definately out of town and have to drive anywhere for dinner and beach. Rooms are not infant friendly. No cots supplied. Rooms are terribly warm and not ventilated well. Breakfast included in price which was nice. Pool not very clean and definately property needs a good makeover for the prices charged. Managers friendly enough. Free wifi is available. Probably... I spent my honeymoon in March 2013. (I had to select Feb 2014 because it was the only option available. The place was perfect. Nothing to complain about it. The room was great. Amenities were very satisfactory and the lovely couple who run the business were very helpful and courteous. We will definitely come back.

When we arrived at the resort we saw a house on the hill which looked Art Deco ish and wondered what to expect. We were greeted by the owner Gunther who takes great pride in his place. He has built his dream place in New Zealand representing a Greek style villa which gives a European touch to the Southern Hemisphere... More

My partner and I booked a three night 'get away'- the only thing we now want to 'get away' from is this horrific Faulty Towers style 'hotel'. The host has been rude, argumentative, confrontational and has no customer service skills. There are no nice things about the room, no finishing touches that you would expect from a hotel, only 2... We booked this hotel as part of our driving holiday around NZ. We arrived at 6:30 in the evening, so it was dark. The light to the entrance was off, so the place was difficult to find. When I mentioned this to the operator, he argued with me that it was on. This place is positively terrifying at night! No... More

We stayed nearly a year ago but I only just made an account on TripAdvisor so I thought I better share my experience. My partner took me away for the night to this lovely place. We really liked it, on my opinion it is a place to go to when you want to just relax and not worry about anything.... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel with very clean spacious rooms, very comfortable bed and good bed linen and a superb freshly cooked breakfast. Also interned access which I find essential these days and do not expect to have to pay for it either. Nice friendly staff Highly recommended

We spent two nights here over Queens Birthday weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. Once you got to know the couple who own and who re-built this place you will find that they will go out of their way to please and once they have an understanding of what our "kiwi" terminology means. The free cooked breakfast was most... More
