My partner and I booked a three night 'get away'- the only thing we now want to 'get away' from is this horrific Faulty Towers style 'hotel'. The host has been rude, argumentative, confrontational and has no customer service skills. There are no nice things about the room, no finishing touches that you would expect from a hotel, only 2... We booked this hotel as part of our driving holiday around NZ. We arrived at 6:30 in the evening, so it was dark. The light to the entrance was off, so the place was difficult to find. When I mentioned this to the operator, he argued with me that it was on. This place is positively terrifying at night! No... More

We stayed nearly a year ago but I only just made an account on TripAdvisor so I thought I better share my experience. My partner took me away for the night to this lovely place. We really liked it, on my opinion it is a place to go to when you want to just relax and not worry about anything.... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel with very clean spacious rooms, very comfortable bed and good bed linen and a superb freshly cooked breakfast. Also interned access which I find essential these days and do not expect to have to pay for it either. Nice friendly staff Highly recommended

We spent two nights here over Queens Birthday weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. Once you got to know the couple who own and who re-built this place you will find that they will go out of their way to please and once they have an understanding of what our "kiwi" terminology means. The free cooked breakfast was most... More

Stayed one night, arrived in evening and as such difficult to see street numbers. If you are arriving at night ring first and ask them to turn lights on road sign. Resort is set on 9 acres of grounds in the country only a few minutes from the suburb of Bethlehem on the outskirts of Tauranga. Hotel room reasonable size,... More

We were passing through and had only booked one night but wished we could have stayed much longer! First impressions are deceiving as this boutique hotel is hard to fault. It was built by the passionate owners to a very high standard. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The mini bar has a good selection of drinks and... More

I would come back in a flash. My mother, sister and I stayed here last week and it was wonderful. Everything was clean, the hosts showed perfect hospitality very friendly and helpful. Amazing value for money. Fantastic breakfast fully cooked, and with a surprise each day as well. Would recommend for anyone going to this area. It was set in... More

Stayed one night. Well appointed, clean and spacious room. Tea making facilities in room (great to have real milk). Close to Bethlehem shopping centre. Breakfast was wonderful and great service. No wifi but internet available if you had an ethernet cable. No Sky TV but Freeview.

Great spot about 15 minutes from Tauranga away from the noise of the city. Great clean room. Breakfast was sausages, waffles (a new addition apparently), toast, cereal, scrambled eggs and mushrooms and choice of orange and apple juice. Did not use the pool but looked great. Would have been good to have wifi and sky movies but other than that... More
