I went down to Tauranga for tournament week. I must admit it is a pretty old/rundown motel, however the rooms are more spacious than I have expected and it is stay-able. Yes there is a swimming pool, spa and trampoline also very close to the city centre. Sky is available, so as free wifi (even though it was not the... More

We had pre-arranged to a Arrive late at the motel. When we turned up the outside light had been left on and the room heater and electric blankets put on too. The rooms were nice and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, sky TV and hot shower. Close to town. Very comfortable stay.

We needed a place to stay that was handy to the city as my father had just passed away. Although this is not an easy time for anyone, or any family, the manager went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. We had other family members travel up from Wellington as well. The manager gave us every help... More

Friendly, comfortable and cheaper than other motels. Petrie, the manager, went out of her way to help us look for accommodation at our next destination, she even called up for us to make the booking. We also got great tips on where to eat and what to do in and around the place. You get free wifi too. Thumbs up... More

We stayed for five nights over two visits, and would definitely revisit on future trips to Tauranga. The unit was spacious, and well equipped, beds very comfortable and with dining table, chairs and lounge providing plenty of seating options. The rear door (yes) opens onto a private lawned area with a swimming pool, and children's play area with trampoline. Many... More

My stay in the Garden Court Motel in Tauranga was simply great. The ratio between price and quality of the accomodation was excellent. But the most important thing was something really valuable: the human touch. I felt really at home there: my every request was fulfilled with a smile. I'd rather to stay at that Motel than a 5 star... More

Nothing special about this motel, very basic and is ok for a night stay while passing through. The rooms are quite old fashioned but we didn't pay very much for a two room apartment and so didn't expect much anyway.
