Each apartment is privately owned so have different levels of decor and furniture etc. Our two bed, two bath apartment was spacious, clean, bright and airy with a small balcony. My husband & I stayed here last weekend, in a one bedroom apartment facing Pilot Bay. It was on the 3rd floor so had lovely harbor views. Could not fault the accommodation, it met all our needs at a fair price. Would def stay again. Walking distance to everything!

Arrived in Mt Maunginui after leaving Auckland with no plans. The Beaumont had rooms and a promise of luxury on the top floor with beautiful views. The clean, small room with part obscured sea and mount views would have impressed if it wasn't for the over sell and over price. Pleasant but nothing overly special.

Great apartment. All facilities for cooking, washing etc, a home away from home. Has a pool and gym. Very close to the beach, restaurants around the corner, be aware that some of the restaurants only open in day time hours. The view from the Mount is definitely worth the climb.
