Had not booked anywherre in Taupo, after looking at a couple of other motels settled on Chevron and really glad we did. Room was wonderful very clean and had everything you could want,, Within an easy walk of town and close to supermakets and lakeside. Manager was great, very helpful and cheery,. Would deffinately recomend

Big, clean room, full kitchen with two beds. An hour or so of free internet similar to other lodging in this class. No A/C. Quiet location within walking distance to much of Taupo CBD. Beds were maybe a tad hard for my liking but I'd stay here again.

I almost did not write a review for the Chevron because I thought there was nothing to say. We picked this motel from the free Jason guide and were very impressed. The unit was on the ground floor, spacious, with a separate bedroom. A stones throw from both the Cosmopoltan club and the RSA. Walking distance to town centre was easy. More than adequate kitchen facilities. I would certainly recommend this motel.

The unit was very clean and spacious with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and quite a good sized tv on the wall . We were given a bottle of milk on arrival and coffee and tea bags were in the unit. If you are after a clean, home away from home in a great location and top value for money, this is the place to stay! Excellent facilites and lovely management (and cat). I will definitely return and be recommending to anyone visiting Taupo. Our stay here totally enhanced our concert experience in Taupo this weekend. Thanks so much!

We found the Chevron Motel exceptional value for money. Very clean, tidy and well maintained but more importantly the comfort of the beds and pillows were wonderful!!!!
