The beauty about Oasis was that it's owned by the arguably Taupos most well renowned Millennium Hotel Manuels which it located next door and you get to use all there facilities..It's truly one of my favourite views on the planet along the waterfront by the hotel and I've been around a fair bit, The room was very cold in Winter,... I recently stayed in a studio room which was so small you could just walk between the bed and the fridge unit! In a tiny room (with a double bed mind) the noise of the heat pump was so loud I had to turn it off despite temperatures around 2 degrees Celsius that night, then the noise of the fridge... More

Dear dsala3, Guest disatisfaction and return is extremely important to us, thank you for giving us this valuable feedback. We do have many room types, and as described on our website our studio's are a "delightfully smaller unit". During your stay, yes is was the school holidays and family's do love our heated pools. We have been traveling the North Island and this would be the 4th Motel we have stayed at over the past 2 weeks. The greeting was warm and welcoming however nothing further till our money was being taken. We stayed in a lake front room with a gorgeous view however the room was cold even with the aircon unit going... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our Motel – we are pleased you enjoyed our welcome and lovely views. We are however, very sorry for other disappointments and assure you that had we been informed would have tried to make amends to gain your confidence in our services and intentions. We are shocked and very puzzled... More

We spent a night here attending a function in Taupo to avoid having to drive home late. Tidy, clean unit with great shower. Small but just what we needed. Warm compared to the very frosty overnight and next morning. Pity didn't bring togs as could see the lovely hot steamy pool outside our window. Good price at short notice being... More

At min of $200 per night to stay here we found this very overpriced, the only good thing about this property is it has a pretty cool pool. Rooms are very dates and we found spider webs in the main bedroom and lounge, also when I got out a spare blanket it came out in a cloud of dust. First... More

We stopped here on a trip from Auckland to Wellington. From the beginning the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating - helpfully answering any questions we had about late check in. The location was brilliant - right on the waters edge. It was also great that Oasis were clearly so child friendly. Unfortunately we arrived to late to use their... More

Great accommodation! Amazing service, not much accommodated for 5 people however they had a separate beach house which worked perfectly, situated right by the water with the full use of pools, bar etc Highly recommend! Amazing place to be and the accommodation really topped it off.

Stayed a night in a 2 bdrm apartment at the Oasis Beach Resort over the weekend. The room was very comfortable and right on the lakefront. We could not fault anything. As the Oasis is part of the Millenium next door you get to use all their facilities. Our kids enjoyed their pool and had a great time. Great value... More

No photos accompanied the Oasis Beach Resort website when booking our accommodation for our family (2 adults, 3 children). However, since Lockwood House fitted us all under the one roof, we thought that it would suit our needs. We therefore had no idea what to expect upon arrival. At $390NZ per night, we were hopeful that the quality of the... More

Not a "Beach Resort"..... Rocky lake access, terribly cramped rooms, rediculous 60ies bathroom and lumpy bed to match! Extraordinarily overpriced ...... pics in advert very misleading! Not going to return!
