Tauhara Sunrise is set up high with exotic views of Lake Taupo and mountains. Host Becky and Rob are extremely welcoming with great breakfasts. The rear lodge where we stayed looks and is delightfully comfortable. The bathroom is one to behold with his and hers showers and a beautiful spa, which can trap the inexperienced user. more

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the White Cliffs suite. The room was spotlessly clean and had large shower and the bonus of a walk in storage area for clothes and suitcases. We stayed in the beautiful room on the ground floor overlooking the lake. We stayed in the chalet d'Amour. So private and quiet. The views are to die for as is the spa bath & shower. We had a wonderful night made more special by the company of Rob & Becky at happy hour. (yummy nibbles too!) Breakfast was awesome. All round a fantastic weekend. We will definately be back. more

We actually stayed on 2006, but the menu won't let me go back that far. Shame on me for taking almost four years to write a review. Wonderful host, lovely accommodations, excellent food.
