This is a relatively economical option and the units are adequately equipped for the holiday maker. I ended up in a two-bedroom unit (because I asked to be in a quieter area than was initially proposed) which would be great for a family of four spending a few days in Taupo. The kitchen was well appointed, and plenty of room.... More

I lived in taupo for 25yrs and had driven past this place many times. After relocating and on visits back to Taupo we normally stayed on the Lake front or with friends. However on looking at wotif to book a night in Taupo I looked at the room rate for Huka Falls Resort ($75) and it was almost too good... More

Spacious, clean, quiet, and inviting - this is an excellent spot for a short overnight stay while travelling or a longer sojourn in the area. Made to feel welcome even though I was arriving after reception had closed - a friendly phone call - clear instructions, and a heater left on for me - very welcoming.

The air is so fresh and and clear with our Cabin overlooking Taupo we were very happy and could well have stayed a week or more. We will be sure to stay here again only 3kms from town and probably the... More

We had booked last minute on booking.com. Got a very good rate for a Studio and were pleasantly surprised to be up-graded to a suite on arrival. Nice chalet with veranda. Colonial style with lots of lovely rimu panelling/doors etc. Warm and spacious with very comfortable bed. A cold night but the heating was very efficient and warmed the rooms... More

Three of us stayed here, we each had our own one bedroom apartment. We could have rented one complete unit and saved some money as the one bedroom unit had an additional bedroom attached that you could access through a door.. Our unit was very spacious and very clean. It was actually like an apartment. The bed was comfortable ,... More

Our title should say everything........ We fell in love with Huka Falls Resort 5 years ago on our visit and we saved our last three days for this visit in NZ as our finale. The Resort didn't disappoint. Whilst we booked a 1 bedroom apartment we were given a two bedroom chalet and had the most wonderful time. The accommodation... More
