“Gables is the place”

Its great to have a friendly and welcoming place to stay in Taupo . Our family stopped over on the way to and from Auckland , from Wellington. The hosts were amazing, couldnt do enough for you and the Accomadation first class. Great value for money , we cant fault it.

“Great at Gables”

Great hosts. Very close to town and with lovely views over the lake. Really enjoyed the private spa bath. Very good positioning of the bedroom which ensured a good nights sleep without the annoyance of outside lights shining in. Would certainly stay again.

Can't wait to see the finished units of this lovely motel. It was spotlessly clean and although the renos are not complete very comfortable. The best bed I've ever slept on at a motel and plenty of space and the views of the Lake. Priceless

My family and I stayed at Gables in March for 3nites and found the managers to be very accommodating and helpful to the point where they relocated us to rooms with better views of the lake at our request with little fuss and bother. Would recommend Gables based on the wonderful hospitality of Jo and Gray.
