Exemplary service beyond the call of duty from proprietors Fran and Wolfgang, who were very helpful especially with arranging outings. Spotlessly clean accommodation with good power shower and spa bath - with infusion provided for post Tongariro Crossing stiffness! Beautiful lake-front view across the road. This is a really good hotel to stay. It`s a nice walk to the shops and restaurants, about 4 blocks, and just far enough away so you don`t get the noise from all the backpackers that are travelling constantly around N.Z. We stayed at the Executive Motel and thought it was lovely! Spotlessly clean and the bed was more comfortable than my own. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in the car so we left it behind but a good nights sleep to look forward to next time. Would definitely stay again! more

My line of work takes me to Taupo often, I always choose to stay at Executive Motel. The main reason I stay here is because I know I will be guaranteed a spotlessly clean room. There is minimal road noise, so I am able to get a good night sleep. The reception staff are always very welcoming. more

A really well serviced and spottless clean motel with a great lake view. Nice spacious rooms. Location is pretty central. The owners are very lovely and accommodating. Recommendable anytime! more

I arrived around 9.30pm and was warmly welcomed by staff. I had a nice upstairs room with a balcony where I could read and look at the lake. I ordered in room breakfast which was prompt and fresh. Great location to all activities and was central to everything I did during my stay. Would recommend to anyone! more
