We recently spent 2 nights at the Accolades. We were given an upgrade to a deluxe room. The Hotel is really a boutique B&B located on a hilltop overlooking lake Rotorura with fantastic views and none of the odors that are prevalent in town. Every afternoon they serve complementary snacks and a glass of wine. They also serve complementary breakfast.... More

We stayed at Accolades for two nights & were very impressed with the establishment. We had a friendly welcome & good breakfast. The rooms are large & comfortable with lovely bathrooms, ours had a spa bath which we took advantage of. The views from the terrace are wonderful & the area around Accolades very palatial.

The 'hotel' is out of rotorua, but this is a good thing considering the awful stench that exists in the township itself. Very welcoming hosts, room was lovely, but do feel that $450 NZD (and this wasn't the most expensive) a night was very expensive for what was a small room in a residential area, particularly in comparison to Auckland... Firstly, thank you for taking the time to write your review about Accolades. All reviews are very much appreciated. Yes,Visitors to Rotorua that are unaware- therefore unprepared- for our sulphuric odours, do find it unappealing! However, out at Accolades we only get the odours 3-4 times a year (depending on the wind & temperature) so, It's a shame you were... More

We stayed at Accolades during our 4 night visit to Rotorua while on our Honeymoon in New Zealand. Immediately, I was blown away by the views from the home. We were greeted by our welcoming host Kath and felt at home the second we arrived. The ranch style home, converted into a hotel, is kept immaculate and is absolutely gorgeous.... More

We were knocked out by the lovely and spacious setting. Gorgeous views of Lake Rotorua and so much room to relax. We were warmly greeted with wine and appetizers then shown to our very large room, including large bathroom with sink and tub. The many amenities--- nice telescope in front of the large living room windows, internet access in the... More

The Accolades is a beautiful place to stay - stunning views, very comfortable rooms, gorgeous bath products and superb hosting. We knew in advance that there was no restaurant facilities and it is more like a very upmarket B+B so we were not disappointed. It was lovely to be away from the city and smell of Rotorua and there are... More

My wife and I wanted to get away during the winter for a relaxing couple of days, without being couped up in a tacky motel or cramped hotel. Accolades was the perfect choice. We felt like we had the place to ourselves with the two huge lounges ample to create a sense of privavcy while not having to retreat to... More

Accolades is in reality a rather exclusive B and B in a nice modern estate 10 miles outside Rotorua on a hill with a lake view with nice rooms.

We stayed at Accolades for a long weekend and were extremely impressed by the property and the level of service. The hosts, Kay and Kath, were fantastic and had so many helpful recommendations about things to do and see in Rotorua. Accolades is a beautiful property with modern decor and has yummy breakfasts each morning. We were sad to have... More

Our mystery weekend ended up in Rotorua at the Accolades Boutique Hotel. What a beautiful place to stay, i fell in love with the hotel/luxury home. This hotel is more of a friendly home than a hotel. We were made to feel at home and to treat it like our home. Our hosts Kath and Kaye made our weekend break... More
