We booked in to the 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night very last minute on the long weekend (20th October). Unfortunately the place is in need of a renovation. The apartment was small but tidy. On arrival, we found that the power point in the kitchen didn't work and the SPA didn't work. After speaking to management, we were offered... More

We stayed for three nights at the Mayfair Apartments, we booked two bedrooms and full self contained. Comparable to other establishments with similar features this was highly priced, the spa did not work and when enquired was just brushed off, poor staff/owner service. Also very noisy maybe air conditioning or something, although no traffic The location is very central in... More

We stayed here for three nights in September. The location was good with easy walking to shops, restaurants and lake front. But the living areas were badly in need of refurbishment- the carpet and furnishings were old/stained, and the layout was awkward. The kitchen and laundry were good. In style the apartment was old and dark - we were on... More

We have just returned from our trip to New Zealand and had the misfortune of staying at the Mayfair Apartments in Rotorua. Firstly the apartment was not clean. When we arrived, we could not put our car in the "lockable garage" as it was being used as a storage facility for old rolls of carpet and various boxes. There was... More

Looking for alternative to a boring hotel room in Rotorua? Consider Mayfair apartments. Modern, luxury finish, full kitchen, two bedrooms, washer and dryer and best of all your own personal thermal spa room! It also had off street parking (small car). It is only two minutes walk from the Commonwealth Gardens, lake, and Rotorua Museum. Excellent value and highly recommended.... More
