Big fluffy towels and the mineral pool is to die for. we had a ground floor unit for 3 of us and it had everything we could need. there is under floor heating which... More

Think about all those terrible motels you have seen in American Movies. That sums up this dreadful place. Scruffy in the extreme. All the kitchen equipment looks as though they were seconhand. The zinc shower room floor had a nice bounce to it. Don't expect more than a tiny bar of soap. No other toiletries provided. The TV was newish... More

Booked into this motel because of its price, central location and thermal pool. Motel room clean with comfortable bed, amazing thermal heating with water underfloor heating, shower was particularly good with strong water pressure and hot water. Thermal pool proper experience with genuine mineral water, hot and relaxing. Very therapeutic and good for your skin. So good to stay somewhere... More

We booked into Pineland as were let down by another booking, if we knew what we were in for we would of just travelled back home. Very dated furnishings, many things in room were not operational. Many basic items missing, such as tin opener, plates to name just a few.We left after one night instead of the three we paid for.... We had to come up from Wellington for my Aunties Funeral so had no choice about where we stayed. Rooms are very outdated , was no Toilet... More

From the moment we paid out money, it turned to custard. We paid in cash, then were asked to give a bond. We said NO. No elements in the oven. only one hot plate was working. lights missing. When we spoke to the owners about the oven, as we wanted to cook tea. My husband was told, QUOTE... "I don't... More

Stayed here for 4 nights but wouldn't do any more. Rooms were dated and our oven didn't work so had to use just the hob! Free wireless internet is a bonus and price was decent. Didn't use the spa. Room was quite big and shower was decent. Good location as was opposite supermarket and 5 minute walk to town. Could... More

We are currently touring New Zealand and this was a our first stop. We checked out lots of motels in the area and this was the best price by 20 dollars a night or so, however it is worth haggling! The room was a little tired but perfectly clean, it had central heating and it was very comfortable. We are... More
