This Motel was a Golden Chain Motel when we stayed. It is well located just outside the Rotorua town centre, close to many of the local attractions. Although the motel is obviously dated in its decor, everything in it is clean and functional. The rooms are large, on two levels with an upstairs bedroom, which has its own small TV. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed quiet. Downstairs there is a lounge with TV, lounge and chair, a room heater which is geothermally powered, separate kitchen (clean and well equipped) and a bathroom with a good shower. There is also a bonus in the small covered area at the back of the room, off the kitchen, which has a really nice, private, spa ( extra towels and spa bubbles are provided). Staff were friendly and helpful. more
