Really enjoyed our stay at this holiday park. Very close to the city attractions. It has a hot pools and a regular pool. Big kitchen, it also has access to the beach! You can dig a hole and will find hot water underneath. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay as a base while in Rotoura

We loved this park - there are 3 free thermal pools and one heated above-ground pool for the kids. A hot beach out the front on the lake, and very spacious sites and ultra-clean facilities made us stay an extra night! The hangi oven is free for guests, and the staff are great! Also walking distance to the nearby free... More

Hi there Coleman, thanks for reviewing us much appreciated. Yes our thermal pools are FREE, and so is our hangi oven, bonus isn't it? Being under new Management we want as much feedback as possible, and yes, Wifi is a problem throughout the complex and this is one problem that we are trying to sort out for all our guest.... More

We only camped a night, as we only intended to, but it was over-priced and the facilities weren't great. The camping spots are too small for a vehicle and tent. We were basically touching the people on either side. The showers were nice and the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. One of the outside BBQs was in a dire... More

Dear Guest, sorry to read that you felt that some of the camping spots were far to small, facilities weren't up to scratch and that you felt that we were over priced. Being under new management we want to hear about this, so that we can fix it. Great to read though, that the showers were great, and our kitchen... More

We stayed in a camper van for just one night, and the powered site was great, level, shady and with our own picnic table. Sadly we didn't get to make use of all the thermal baths, but all the shared facilities were clean and relatively well maintained.

Hi, Yes shame that you ran out of time for our lovely thermal pools, its what we are well known for. But more reason for you to visit us again. Take care, and thanks for reviewing us. Diane More

We stayed in a little cottage with a toilet. The rooms were super clean, clean sheets, clean kitchen. All the kitchen utensils were provided. Rooms were warm and surprisingly quiet. Clean pool. Great staff. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Our regular campground was full, No vacancy signs everywhere. We were recommended cosy cottage. A little out of the way, but that is a good thing as there was no sound of traffic. We travel in a campervan. The site was flat and not far from the showers. Showers had plenty of hot water and good lighting, hairdryer as well.... More

I have mixed feelings about our stay. We were a group of extended family. Most of us were on camp sites. I'll comment only on my experience. There may have been confusion generated by a recent change of ownership. We have two small dogs. This is advertised as a pet friendly facility. Prior to booking I phoned and asked about... More

we stayed there with a large camper van and the site was just big enough to fit it. The sites for the smaller camper vans did not have a lot of extra space, either. The thermal area right next to the campsite was very interesting and digging your own hot tub at the lake was also fun. They have hot... More

Hi there, we are under new Management, so therefore, feedback is very important to us. I think maybe that you may have been put into a smaller campervan site by mistake, as we do have larger ones up to 11 metres plus, our apologies about that. Yes we are very proud of our own little hot water beach here, great... More

We had a non-powered campersite and a room for three other guests that joined us. The holiday park must have been awesome in the 80s, but it appears to be untouched since then. The rooms came with the added fragrance of stale smoke..free of charge, the kitchen was really run down and was desperate for a revamp. However, it was... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry your stay was not totally a pleasant one. We would of moved your guests into another cabin had we known about the smoke smell, but glad that you found them clean and warm. The park is looking a bit old, and the new owners are getting items... More

Four of us had a lovely couple of nights at Cosy Cottage recently. The site was kept clean and tidy, the facilities were all we needed and more. The lake was easily accessed by a short walk and spades were provided so we could dig our own little thermal pool to sit in. The pool on site was small but... More
