It was pure joy to relax at the Lodge. Our hosts, Margaret and Tony, made us feel completely at home in their gorgeous house. It is superbly maintained and beautifully appointed. Kawaha Point Lodge is one of the most delightful places on the planet! My husband and I were fortunate to stay there during our honeymoon. An absolute gorgeous lodge where the rooms are spacious and detailed. The gardens are equisite as are the upper outside decks and common living room area that over looks them. Only about 5 minutes from downtown Rotorua, but no smell. The couple who run the lodge are as first class as the lodge itself and their chef is wonderful. more
