Stayed here for a night. Easy to find and park, friendly reception and very pleasant room at the rear of the hotel. Quiet with a good view. Only downside for us was the breakfast. We're not early risers and by the time we ambled down to the restaurant there was little easily available and the staff were clearing the tables... More

This is a reasonably big complex with a number of bars, restaurants and pools, in what I think is a good location - central and handy to the centre of Rotorua, but close to the lake, so it is quieter with much less traffic. Staff were excellent - efficient and courteous. Room was clean, and bed was very good and... More

Stayed here with our children for a weekend away. Booked 3 rooms, disappointing wait at check in for over an hour while they finished cleaning 2 of 3 rooms that were pre-booked. Saving grace was the friendly mature Maori attendant who seemed to hurry things along for us. This same gentleman took the trouble of bringing towels to the pool... More

We stayed a night here on a split decision of not wanting to leave Rotorua. We booked at the information centre which actually had cheaper prices than some of the websites we visited. For the amount we paid it was the slice of luxury we were looking for with comfy beds, clean rooms and our balcony (little small and could... More

Booked a superior lake view twin for myself, wife and two kids. People have talked about lack of parking, but there is plenty just across the road. Front desk staff were great as were any staff we came across. Room was as expected, but lake view was a bit limited. Lake glimpse. Would suggest a higher room for better views... More

The room was clean and spacious with a nice bathroom with a bathtub. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the town close to super market, shopping and banks. We used the spa facility which was quiet and very clean. The free parking was convenient and there was free Wi-Fi in the lobby. We did observe that... More

Hotel was reasonably good, although if you check behind what is immediately visible it was not completely clean. The hotel offers several options for WiFi, but if you want continuous coverage during your stay, it will cost you 10 NZD per day. The hotel has a swimming pool, but we did not use it.

On the surface this is a very nice hotel. The public areas are quite chic and stylish and it has a nice bar. Underneath the surface though there are a number of things they should address if they are to be up there with the best. During our two night stay a few things came to light - none of... More

On leaving Auckland, our small group struggled to secure accommodation due to Chinese New Year & cricket bookings. Fortunately we were able to get the last 2 rooms available in this hotel, & although they were in the old part & needed updating, they were fine. The porter was fantastic, what a lovely, friendly man. Had a very nice meal... More

The room we were allocated was in the bowels of the hotel. Easy to get lost in. Room needed serious updating: toilet cistern got jammed and you had to hold onto the hand-held shower whilst pulling out the button at the same time, otherwise the bath tap would flow - awkward... Gym was tinny, hot and smelly. Not enough car... More
