Cannot express how great this hotel is. Our unti was a three bedded, It had three single beds in one room, a twin bedded room and a double room. A bathroom which was large, a living room very large, dining area, fully fitted kitchen and a private spa in the garden. The unit was spotless, the surroundings fantastic with a... more

I had originally booked 2 rooms for our large family (4 kids) but the owner immediately let me know that I could have one large cottage that would keep us together in one building. On top of that, the bigger cottage cost me about $10 NZ less than the 2 rooms combined. We even had an extra bed to spare!... more

We chose this because it can accomodate all 5 of us. Parking right to the door step. The living room was spacious with a 2-seater sofa, a round dining table and kitchen, plus an extendable chair. The host said can be extended to a sofa bed, but despite numerous tries we just cannot fully extend it to a bed. The... more

Very nice welcome, the host is very helpfull in advising on attractions and she always has a smile on her face! The rooms are ok, not very big, but you have all you need. The jacuzzi was really dirty when we were there, so we couldn't go in it. But still, we think for Rotorua, it was good price/value. more

We had a really nice stay at Best Western Braeside. Huge living room, kitchen, toilet , 2 TV sets and parking right in front of the units. Everything was very clean & well equipped. Warm and friendly hostess , Karen with resident cat - Climber . The trout and ducks at back were a bonus. Bring some bread and watch... more

I love staying at the Braeside. Karen and Karl are so warm and really bend over backwards to make our stay the best. The rooms are impeccable, clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The gondola is just across the road and there is a restaurant on site and the breakfasts are delicious!! I would 100% stay there... more

The three days we spent with two teenagers at this accomodation was just what a tired and busy family needed. The accommdation was well appointed and we tryed all the activities on site, mini golf, table tennis, very warm pool and spa. The owners bent over backwards to ensure we chose a suitable unit and gave lots of local information.... more

We traveled to Rotorua with a 5 yr old and 2 yr old twins. Braeside is a fantastic location for a young family. There is so much to do on site. The children loved walking by the stream and feeding the trout and very friendly ducks. Dogs are also allowed to stay and meeting dogs on the path was a... more
