We had a lovely 3 days at Blossom Cottage with our 2 young children. There were lots of toys and activities for the kids and they loved feeding the animals and collecting the eggs for breakfast in the morning.

If you have children you have to stay here. All the toys, animals, space, spa, trampoline, books made every day a new discovery for the kids. I'm not normally one to write reviews but our stay at blossom cottage was so perfect, I feel I have too! The cottage is perfectly located close enough to rotorua but far enough to be peaceful. Overall this is a great B&B experience for a family. Our girls (6&9) just loved all the animals and there was plenty of other things for them to do as well (trampoline, toys, books and loads of safe running around space). We really wished we could have spent more time at this lovely rural cottage where the owners seem to have thought of everything. A delightful location, lovely food, fresh eggs and a comfy bed. We also thought it was great value for money for the quality of the accommodation.

We had 20 accommodations during our holidays in New Zealand, but Marianne was the first host who greeted us with our names when we arrived. And this warm welcome and friendliness we found again everywhere in the cottage: very bright rooms, really nice furniture, the contents of the fridge, the delicious brownies, the sparkling wine...I believe there even were umbrellas... We needed a break from the hub-bub and Blossom Cottage was just the ticket. From fresh eggs in the morning (right from the hens) to the amazing views of pastureland and the lake in the distance to the fabulous croissants to the generous, helpful hosts ... it doesn't get any better than this. We appreciated your warm welcome, comprehensive facilities and especially cleanliness! We enjoyed the lovely scenery.Jacob especially enjoyed the donkey and I of course, the private hot tub. Great location, very peaceful and relaxing. Beautifully appointed cottage, we wanted for nothing and the fridge and pantry were generously stocked. We foudn the owners to be lovely, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Sorry our stay was so brief but we hope to be back one day.....
