We stayed for 5 nights. This park really is a transient campground. There are people driving around at 1am in the morning setting up camp. Sadly everyone around us only really stayed 1 or 2 nights. The facilities are clean, I didn't see any staff other than the cleaners. We stayed in a Standard Log Cabin and it was great.... More

Close to the Te Puia National Park we found this nice and quiet campground. We stayed here only one night. The amineties building was all very clean. Wifi you need to buy but worked well. There are 2 hot pools and a normal pool which the children really liked. The hot pools are warm but in-between brick walls which we... More

We stayed two nights in an ensuite cabin, which was basic, but all we needed. Linen and towels were provided and there was also a small fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, China, glasses and cutlery plus a TV. The park is set in parkland with complimentary use of swimming pool and hot pools for hotel guests. There's a playground, cafe, laundry... More

Have stayed here almost every time i visit Rotorua, this place has probably made 3K+ off me over the years. Has massive potential, clearly someone took the reigns recently and got them a proper website and put some much needed cash into the place. The main thing here is the pricing is good, however most of the fix up cabins... More

Firstly, thanks for coming and staying with us again we appreciate your custom. You are right we are in the middle of a grand upgrade, the cabins that you stayed in are currently half-way through, we have replumbed, rewired to code and reroofed a portion of them prior to Christmas as they desperately needed them. Once they are all reroofed... More

I saw other people review are negative, but its really not that bad. This is a holiday park, not a resort! cant expect too much luxury. The place is clean & tidy, that is important. If you went on high season off course the place is packed, but if you are tight travelers, this is a place to be. Great... More

Firstly, thanks for coming to stay with us we really appreciate it. Clean, family orientated and trees for miles is what we are really wanting to provide, so thanks for letting us know that we are succeeding in this way. We have some great new facilities coming soon and we are extending the MTBK track for the kids to play... More

Looks like others are saying the same. terrible place. unfortunate because there is so much potential, really close to the thermal activity, bike park and friendly enough reception. The top three let downs for us were the disgusting showers that we were too scared to take our thongs off in, the kitchen that did have anything at all in the... More

A variety of accommodation offered at this place. Tent sites, cabins, power sites, etc. Hot pools are a bonus. My recent stay gave me the impression this place was a bit shabbier than I remembered in the past. A lot of litter around the grounds, etc. Staff pleasant but not that helpful. Saying all that I probably will stay again.

Facilities were not well-cared for. Communal kitchen was not well-stocked nor maintained. Only a few chairs to sit at and one small table to dine on in the adjoining room. It was not a good or comfortable experience. Many visitors with a very crowded feeling.

We had issues every night while staying there, each night a large group would come to the kitchen lounge area and party all night, first night until 2am, second night until 4am and third night until 12.30am, last night only ended early as we made multiple phone calls Each morning we complained at the office, who said they would get... We opted for a cabin but when we arrived it was damp and looked like it hadn't been touched since the '60s We asked to change for an unpowered site, which the thankfully changed for us and reimbursed the difference. It is a good to place to base yourself but save yourself some money and use a tent/camper.
