Our family stayed for three nights in June; it was a most relaxing stay. It was especially nice to have the suite with a separate room for my daughter. Breakfast was delicious and ample, and the hosts, Alan and George, were interesting to talk to and helpful. The views down toward the lake were lovely, even in winter. My daughter... More

The welcome we received during our short stay was superb. We stayed for one night, as part of the 'Home Stay' scheme, during our 4+ week tour (With Collette Tours). This is a small place in a quiet location with great views over the lake. The gardens were full of colour during our stay, Spring-time in New Zealand. We were... More

Stayed there for couple of nights. It's clean and tidy, the owners were very welcoming and nice! The place attached to the farm and doing a morning drill with the owner to the animal is a must!!! Location wise is convenient to get into town, yet it's slightly away so the place is absolutely quiet at night with tones of... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in November. The location was wonderful - looking out over the lake from the top of the hill, with the lawn and garden in the foreground. The hosts, Alan and George, were lovely, warm and open. They had good ideas for places to visit, and they brought us around the... More

We stayed in this beautiful bed and breakfast over Easter for two nights. Located on their own land with farm animals which are actually more like pets. The owners are very friendly and made us feel very comfortable in their home offering lots of help with local places to visit and eat at. Lovely breakfast with fresh eggs from their... More

We stayed over for one night with 5 adult and 1 child. We enjoyed the cosy settings and beautiful layout of the house. In the morning we fed the farm animals and enjoyed breakfast prepared for us. Will recommend this b&b to anyone who is looking for a quiet and cosy stay in Rotorua....

A gem of a place with incredible views matched by the incredible warmth and friendliness of the hosts Georgie and Alan. We stayed here for a mini-break with no particular plans (having done no local research at all) - Alan and Georgie were very generous with their suggestions and gave us heaps of ideas. We went to Wai-O-Tapu to see... More

My husband and I recently returned from honeymooning in New Zealand. Of all the places we stayed during our two-week adventure, the two nights spent at Lakeview Heights Farm Stay were by far our most memorable. Alan & George are truly the hosts with the most - kind, friendly & hospitable. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with the... More
