This was actually our last resort accomodation since most of the hotels in the area were fully booked because of the golf tournament. Although its a bit isolated, 10-15 minute walk to the town centre, we really didn't mind because there was a dairy beside it and there was a Chinese take-away shop sitting just by the corner. I was... More

An otherwise pleasant stay was marred by a lady at reception insisting we pay $10 for a wi-fi internet service that wasn't working (this was confirmed by the intenet service provider.) Such a shame for the sake of $10. The rooms to the side can also be quite noisey with limited views. More

Don't be fooled by the pictures, very few of these units have water views, in fact only the ones at the front of the complex that do (maybe 6), the majority look out into a car park or fence. Although all the photos show the place with water views, so it was disappointing to see that only a small few... More

This establishment, whilst being relatively new, somehow misses the mark for reasons that probably in isolation are not that serious but in conjunction with everything add up to a bit of a disappointment. The good things about this property are: Location: Across the road is a wonderful safe swimming beach. It is one bay around from the main town centre... More

We stayed at this motel on nights 3 & 4 of our 25 day tour of New Zealand. Although we had to wait at reception desk for someone to sign us into our room the lady who dealt with us was very helpful & friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean and had excellent facilities. The down side to... More

We found that we could here the neighbours cough, sneeze, footsteps. toilet flushing and water going down pipes all night which means we hardly slept the room was hidden in a corner and had no veiw. next doors air con leaked all over our outside area. We found... More

Greta for families, we stayed in a suite with ocean view and facilities were great and nice and spacious. Would have been nice to have a pool but the spa available was handy although tucked away in a corner with nothing to look at. Staff were very helpful and everything was clean and well presented. Great location for the beach but a bit of a walk to the main shopping and restaurant area of Paihia. Rooms are very modern motel style. Spacious. Plenty of parking and great helpful service from reception. Dishwasher great but a teatowel would also have been welcomed. More
