We recently had a pleasant stay at the Swiss Chalet Lodge. The rooms were adequately furnished / equipped and spacious, but primarily they were spotlessly clean. We stayed at the Swiss Chalet Motel in Paihia at the Bay of Islands. We found it to be very clean with plenty of living space in the studio rooms.
