Great hosts beautiful location. Short walk to most activities. Panoramic view from balcony. The room is well equipped and having access to the kayaks means you can not just look at the view. The hosts are available but not in your face. Piahia is a good base to explore the bay of islands.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Paihia at "Beached As.." I have to admit the name got me in plus the photos of the amazing views but what wonderful hospitality we received and little extra touches in the room make it a memorable experience.You feel a very welcome guest and the owners are happy to help...

Stayed there for two nights, room was great, nice and cool, kitchette very useful. Host was very friendly and we enjoyed being able to use the Kayaks free of charge. Couldn't get any closer to the beach, was perfect. Car park was handy to have also. Close to town. Recommend to all who go to Paihia. We will be back.
