A group of five of us stayed in this cabin on a girls' weekend. The cabin is what I would call basic, it is a small buidling, only big enough to fit two sets of bunk beds (one with a double bottom bunk). It has a mini fridge and a few plastic chairs for the deck outside and that's it.... More

Great view of Haruru Falls from the waterside. Unfortunately, that's about it. Campervan stand was on a slant - no biggie but a bit of getting used to when you want to sleep. The toilets on site smell like they haven't been washed in some time, and overall, the place felt a little grubby. Wifi access is ridiculously expensive. The... More

Spent Labour Day weekend here for one night in what was advertised as 'Newly refurbished' Hotel rooms. The bathroom is like something from the 80's - edges in bathroom were filthy and dusty, possbly even some builders dirt! We were in room no. 18 not sure what the other rooms were like though but this was certainly not refurbed! The... More

Caravan Sites directly across from Haruru Falls was magnificant. Facilities are very run down. Amenities block sub standard. Laundry facilities extremely basic. Guests have to wait for staff to complete their laundry before they can uses the machines and dryers. You even have to pay $5.00 for the hire of the gas bottle for 20 minutes for the BBQ!

We stayed at this campsite (in a campervan) on the first night of our honeymoon. Being winter, the site was mostly empty - but that meant we got the best seats in the house, next to the water with a full view of the falls. In fact, when the tour bus arrived the next morning to collect us for an... More

A great place to stay, wonderful location for campers, and perfectly located to Paihia, the supermarket and trips to Kerikeri and surrounding vineyards. The campsite is lovely and peaceful and has an excellent swimming pool and BBQ area with facilities for social groups and families (hot showers too which is a great bonus!). We have stayed there a number of... More

More a motel & campsite than a resort, but we did enjoy our stay. We stayed in one of the motel style rooms which was clean, comfortable and quite large. We had a lovely time swimming with our little one in the very large pool. The grounds were very well maintained. The waterfall was nothing spectacular but made for a... More

I have just come away from camping at Hurara Falls "Resort" for the Easter Weekend with my partner and 3 other friends and we were all very disappointed by the lack of care and cleanliness of the facilities for campers. The campsite is in a beautiful location overlooking the river and Haruru Falls themselves, and they also have a very... More

We (4 of us) spent a long weekend recently in one of the Family Apartments. The accommodation was excellent. It was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Serviced everyday with clean towels etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had fantastic views of the falls and river from the deck of our apartment. We spent alot of time by the pool... More
