What to say? The positive is the location which is lovely. The negatives, where to begin? Motel accommodation was dirty, broken, lacking in equipment, expensive, not serviced. the pressure in the shower (drip) was terrible, the shower block for the campers was way better. for the cost of the room we were very disapointed

We loved the location of the resort, and having the swimming pool was fantastic for our kids, who took advantage of it, it was quiet and a beautiful location. On the negative side, we hired the house at $350 a night, which was pricey considering, we had to pay to use anything else ie the bbq, kayaks and dryers. The... More

we keep returning to this lovely waterside resort with spectacular views of Haruru falls. Just 5minutes outside of Paihia, it is a good location to explore the Bay of Islands or just stay put and enjoy the relaxing environment. The staff will book your dolphin watching and boat trips and arrange pick up from reception. We stay in our caravan... More

This must be one of the best holiday resorts in New Zealand!! The ambience and facilities at this resort are second to none! There is something for everyone and all ages. Located right on the waterfront of the lagoon, with an outstanding view of Haruru Falls, you can kayak, fish from the jetty, or launch your boat. There is a... More

We had 7 nights in the cabin with our two children and had a spectacular stay. Arrived to cabin having been personally cleaned by the manager and found it to be clean and tidy. Found the staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed delicious pizza and fish and chips from the restaurant. Camp was quiet in the evenings which was great... More

Stayed in the camping part and the campground has good facilities especially for families. Staff were freiendly and helpful. This score is dragged down by toilets and showers not being cleaned more reg

What to say? The positive is the location which is lovely. The negatives, where to begin? Motel accommodation was dirty, broken, lacking in equipment, expensive, rude owner, not serviced.I could go on but there's no point! My advice is to go to a backpackers if staying in the area on a budget or sleep in the car before wasting your... More

I really didn't enjoy it here. I felt like i was lied to. The 'resort' we booked was from Booking.com. claiming its a 4 star resort, which is where the technical part comes in. 4* campsite. I would agree, great place to pitch a tent with showers, a pool (although the water was rancid, i couldn't see my hand when... More

The toilet blocks and kitchen required servicing. They are run down. Toilet blocks always smelt of urine. Women beware!!! The man cleaning the toilet block just comes into the womens without announcing himself or warning he wants to enter. This shocked my wife who was changing at the time. No apologies were given. Hygiene was not good! Restaurant had dirty... More

Stayed here over new years 2015 camping for 8 nights. Part of a group of 3 families. Nice setting with waterfall and access to water for kayaking and kids could catch sprats and swim in pool. However the manager was disorganised from the start with poor communication when booking. No response from emails. Had to chase them. We advised we... More
