I was definitely disappointed with our stay. After reading the Frommers guide and a few of the reviews before we left. We assumed that the hotel would be worth it. It's not. It's not horrible, but the owner has let the place go in my opinion. I've just spend 9 days in Costa Rica and this was my only disappointed... more

Room was small, and poorly ventilated. No fan is provided in the room and the sliding doors have no screen so they cannot be left open for air. The loud snoring of the occupant in the next room was loud and clear all night. The bathroom was overrun with ants.Hosts do not allow any access to the "villa" between 7:00pm... more
