After the first 4 weeks travelling New Zealand, we have experienced generally good accomodation. However, Cooks Lookout surpassed the lot by a mile on all counts. The views were magical even on a bad weather day. The accomodation looked and felt new, was very clean and, most importantly, everything provided worked 100% which was probably a first on this holiday.... more

Our room was next to the office and the cheapest available but we were using the hotel as a base for touring north from Pahia so did not spend a lot of time around the hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom appartment with a fantastic view of the Bay of Islands from the lounge room and main bedroom. The rooms were very comfortable, spotlessly clean.
