Fantastic place to stay, nice quiet, good pool, and we had a family unit and the beds are huge and comfortable. Staff were friendly and easy walking distance to beach and bars. Only downfall is the old equipment in the gym, it needs up grading!

A very relaxed place to stay in the Bay of Islands. 5 minute walk from center of town (along the beach road which is always a nice view) Our room had a large opening window overlooking the mountains and the pool. It was quiet, relaxing and the staff were friendly! Only con we had was that it was rather warm... More

The hotel was really well organized, people friendly and amenities quite good. On the down side, the pressure of showers was a bit low and internet was unusable but, hey!, you don't go to those places to stay connected on the internet all the time!! I honestly really liked it and the bar/dining was very decent. Very recommended if you... More

I assume that if you are visiting The Bay of Islands then you are going to be out and about most of the time so all you want from a hotel is for it to be clean and comfortable and this is. It could do with a bit of TLC but the staff are good and it is decent value.... More

Ok the good thing: it was close to the beach & shops. That's about it. Probably the most disappointing feature was that the place was understaffed and the poor staff working there seemed undertrained and unsupported. Reception wasn't able to provided much assistance at all and couldn't answer some pretty straightforward questions, such as what the weather would be, or... More

The room was big and comfortable, although could use a refurb/update. I think we had higher expectations with 'resort' in the name. While not beachfront, this hotel is located close to restaurants and the jetty making it handy for tours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a day of exploring.

....but, a bit long in the tooth and in need of some TLC. The staff is wonderful; to a person, they were very helpful and very friendly. The room was huge for the two of us with a king bed and two singles in a living room area. Nice patio although the gardens outside our room had yet to be... More

The rooms were enormous and well equipped. We had a microwave but did not use it. The frige worked once turned on. The beds was comfortable. The cooked breakfast was very good. The owner is a kick and went out of his way to fix whatever needed fixing. We were missing a light over the sink. A very nice place... More
