Arrived at the property we where welcomed by Garreth, a very polite and helpful guy from Wales. He arranged a tour for us and give very good advises about restaurants... The entire staff was very polite and probably the best about this hotel. The second day we went for breakfast at 09:10am and the service was finish! (we never where... More

We booked through a Grabone deal and it was good value. Don't expect the Ritz but it was quite adequate for the 2 days we were there. Close to most amenities. Breakfast was good value for money. Pool was nice and refreshing - especially after sitting in the sauna for 20 minutes. I see from previous comments that the pool... More

We were so disapointed when we arrived at our room here. I have no idea how this place has 4 stars but I give it a 2. I have stayed in many hotels all around nz and this was the most dated and unclean one i've ever stayed at. We drive around Paihia to look for another option but everywhere... More

This hotel is in a great location and quiet as the rooms are off the road. Rooms have everything you need, including a comfy bed and surprise you with some nice touches; quality bath products, plunger coffee and decent coffee cups. Breakfast is impressive and again has some 5 star signs ie quality muesli. Pool a little tired looking but... More

We booked this hotel through Grabone and it was a very good deal. The accommodation itself was very average, but it was clean and quiet. The hotel was virtually empty and the restaurant and bar weren't open but that didn't worry us. They had an excellent spa. The pool was a bit dirty.

We booked this hotel on a special offer for a really good price. When we arrived not only were we greeted by a warm helpful clerk but to our delight we had been upgraded! We also were given a free drink each if dinned in. We did and the food was fantastic! Everything and everyone about the place was top... More

My wife and I stayed in this lovely hotel for four nights at the beginning of March 2014. We used it as our base to explore this beautiful region in North Island, New Zealand. The room was huge and on two levels with doors opening unto a little terrace. We were in a room at the top of a little... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is set slightly back from the main beach road so it's very quiet. There are plenty of parking spaces near each row of rooms. The room itself was fantastic, we had a split level double bedroom with a spacious bathroom which included a bath and shower. The lower level had two extra... More

My partner and I stayed at the Pahia Pacific for a week while on a 2 week holiday in NZ. Upon arrival, we found the receptionist, Lyn, a delight. Her everlasting smile and sense of humour made us feel welcome instantly. Her professionalism was also spot on. Our room was right at the back of the complex and was one... More
