We stayed here in January with some friends as we were in the area for a wedding. The house was better than we had even expected - the photos just cannot do it justice!! It is a massive house, but I believe they do a B&B thing as well. We all just loved it - I feel like we should... More

Its just simply amazing. We visited Jane's AT THE BEACH BED AND BREAKFAST for our honeymoon but its ideal for anyone. Jane who is the owner of the house gave us a really warm welcome and was very helpful throughout the whole stay. In the morning, the b'fast was excellent in the terrace enjoying breathable views. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Thank you so much! We really enjoyed meeting the two of you - its always great to welcome people for a special occasion such as a honeymoon, but you two were extra-special - our first ever guests from Malta! What a great positive attitude you both have - something that will strengthen your marriage, I am sure, and with your... More

In Nov 2014 we stayed 3 nights in Yacht View accommodation This stay was made absolutely fabulous by our host Doug and the great breakfast they served. The accommodation was quiet and very comfortable with a King size bed and a magnificent view of the Bay from the main bedroom (there was also another bedroom). The window in the main... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Our room had a great view of the ocean but not the beach to go swimming. We enjoyed out walks in the beach everyday. Pam, who helped Jan was an absolute pleasure. She was so sweet and interested in getting to know people. We truly admire her and Rob for being courageous and risk... More

Hi Rebecca So pleased you enjoyed the breakfast and evening time on your deck with views of the sea, and also the great 90 Mile Beach bus and Hole in the Rock boat trip - two great choices! Most times, we happily squeeze guest supplies into our home freezer on request - it was just unfortunate that Doug's latest fishing... More

We actually stayed in January 2013 and still have very fond memories of our stay "At the Beach" We plan to revisit in 2016 and staying here will be a must. We had two rooms as we met up with our New Zealand friends and we had a wonderful time. Janes breakfast's were superb and sitting out on the terrace... More

A luxury apartment with all mod cons, a huge bedroom window overlooking the bay with the best view in town, a sumptuous breakfast - what's not to like? Without doubt one of the best places we have stayed in more than 30 years of travelling the world - we booked one night and ended up staying for three nights. The... More

Wonderful accommodation in an amazing location. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which had a picture perfect view from the window which you would never tire of. Also, the access to the beach was great and hardly anyone there! Jane was a fantastic hostess (Doug was away) and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the brownies we were... More

We booked this accommodation from UK 5 months prior to our trip and without any recommendations. It is advisable to have a car to stay here as the property is situated up a hill outside the town of Paihia. To welcome us to in our room was a bar of chocolate, and magazine of the area together with the normal... More

Our second visit to Jane & Doug was once again just what the doctor ordered. Jane is a wonderfully welcoming & generous host. A perfect place to retreat and recharge the batteries, quiet, private as much as you want it to be. Easy to do as much or as little as you want. As local Kiwis, having done the sight... More
