Being long time visitors to club paihia we were very impressed with the remodelling and found the quality of the accomodation to be excellent. Staff also very friendly and to be praised for the upkeep of the resort. Our only issue over the week we stayed was the hard sell to invest further. The salesman was rude and aggressive. Avoid... We had a very spacious two bedroom unit. Clean, comfortable and on a lower level of the resort making our coming and going not too much of a hike. (The site is steep).Fantastic location for walking in to the town as will as catching the ferry to Russell. We did a day trip to Cape Reinga, driving to the ancient... More

Set into the hillside, the location is quite nice. There are plenty of things for families with kids to keep busy, but they are all very spread out. If you had younger children needing supervision, it would be tiring to keep up with where they are all the time. The room was nice, and obviously recently refurbished, though small for... More

As a long time owner at Club Paihia and not having stayed there for a couple of years I was keen to see what if any changes had been made since the change in management companies. I will deal with this later but to the resort. Since I was last there the pool area has been refurbished and the pools... More

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and it is particularly nice to have our loyal and hardworking staff acknowledged. I hope you will manage another visit soon. I note that you have concerns about the presence of a Classic Holidays consultant at the resort and am very sorry that you felt you had been... More

This timeshare complex is very cleverly laid out, with terrific facilities: swimming pool, multiple hot pools, bush walkways, and nicely laid-out apartments. It is, as others have said, on a steep site, but they use that to their advantage in terms of giving a sense of privacy. The site as a whole is south-facing, so sun is limited (even in... More

We are staying here this week and have found the chalets to be wonderful. They are very clean and spacious and modern Stacy who arranges travel activities is great she is knowledgeable, polite and nothing is to much trouble. Go see her when you stay here. The only downside is the steep hill to reception and our room but the... More

We stayed din a 2 bedroom unit for a week. The unit had everything needed including a shared laundry with free clothes drier. It was clean and recently updated with modern décor. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The balcony overlooked the pool and was wonderful for relaxing on. There is no view of the harbour from any of... More

We had a lovely week at Club Paihia. No complaints what-so-ever. The walk back up the hill to our unit, whilst I didn't always look forward to it, could only have been good for me! The kids loved the pools and would have lived in them if they could. With one of my daughters being a beginner swimmer and all... More

Club Paihia is located close the main market and far enough fro it to be quiet. Paihia is a small place with all the tourist facilities and excursions. We went to the sea for viewing the dolphins and had a wonderful time. Club Paihia had a wonderful room with a all the facilities in the kitchenette. The place has a beautiful... More

ClubPaihia was a time share option for us. So we booked it to enjoy a lovely week in Bay of Islands. Check in was hassle free. The facilities opened short times but we came to realise that its just Paihia, it has a sleepy sailing town mentality so normal for a place like this. The pools, spa pools, DVD rentals,... More
